DSE Brokers Association of Bangladesh (DBA) is the first trade organization of stock broking community in Bangladesh was established on January 29, 2014. The purpose of the Association is to protect the interest of the members (DSE TREC Holders), investors and stakeholders in line with the business of the capital market. DBA obtained its license on June 29, 2015 from the Ministry of Commerce and incorporated on August 16, 2015 with Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC). DBA is an “A” category member of FBCCI since 15 October 2015.

DBA serves as a model of non-profit, service-oriented organization. It renders very useful support and services in all areas of the capital market and works in alignment with the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited, different trade organizations and different agencies of the Government to boost up the capital market and country economy.

The Association is run by a Board of 15 (Fifteen) Directors elected by the members for two years term. A President, a Senior Vice-President and a Vice-President are elected by the elected directors for two years term. The President acts as the Chief Executive of the Association. The Board of Directors is assisted by the Board Committees on various subjects and by a fully-fledged Secretariat.
